A Very Special Day

On the Fourth of July I turned 30. My birthday present was better than anything I ever could have imagined--my eldest child was baptized and my fifth child was blessed. I am embarrassed to say that I really have struggled with this birthday, but Heavenly Father planned these events this way to teach me what is most important in life. He gave me a taste of heaven and having had a taste, I only want to get there more than I did before. And he helped me see more clearly the reminders I have of heaven every day--my family. It was a great day.

You didn't really turn 30 -- you turned 29 for the second time!

I can't believe I haven't seen these latest posts! So fun to catch up.

I can't tell you how much better I feel knowing you weren't thrilled about turning 30. I'm dreading mine, too. I love that Eden and Lydia had the same dress for their baptism day! :)
